Due to the high demand for quality day program mental health and addiction treatment at our Changes location in Frisco, we are meeting that need by expanding our services at Changes Plano! We have done renovations to be able to completely separate the children from the adults, so there will be no time during the day that the different age groups will be in the same hallways, group rooms or even cafeterias. Each will occupy their own side of our building, including bathrooms on both sides.
This new program will directly benefit our community partners that have need for services in Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Murphy, Wylie, Sachse, Garland, Rockwall and beyond!
Changes Outpatient of Plano is proud to serve the community by offering Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs for ages 18+. Our dedicated staff of psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists provide quality care in a healing environment.
At Changes© we offer different treatment options including:
Major Insurances and Medicare accepted.
The Partial Hospitalization Program provides structured therapy five days a week. Patients spend 6 hours per day participating in psychotherapy groups, recreational therapy and educational groups. The treatment model is evidence-based and a combination of nationally recognized programs including the Hazelden program, motivation enhancement therapy, reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, twelve-step facilitation and dialectical behavioral therapy. Recreation, art, music and pet therapies are all offered as well. Medication management is provided by our psychiatrist or nurse practioner. Additionally, family sessions are provided to involve families in the healing and recovery process of the patient.
The Intensive Outpatient Program provides structured therapy five days a week. Patients typically spend 15 hours per week in the program. The treatment model is evidence-based and a combination of nationally recognized programs including the Hazelden program, motivation enhancement therapy, reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, twelve-step facilitation and dialectical behavioral therapy. Recreation, pet, art and music therapy groups are also provided.
Families have the opportunity to participate in education and support groups to increase their understanding of addiction and mental illness. This process helps them learn about themselves and their roles and responsibilities in the recovery process. With this important information in hand, the family has a greater opportunity to reunite and start interacting in a more helpful and healthy manner.
